What are the signs when a clutch is failing.

If the clutch plate has worn out or failed the vehicle will go no-where or struggle to go anywhere due to slippage. If the pressure plate fails there can be some nasty noises before the vehicle stops, below are a few RED flags to watch out for:

• Spongy: Your clutch pedal feels spongy sticks or vibrates when you press it.
• Squeaking: You sometimes hear a squeaking or a grumbling noise when you press down on the pedal.
• Performane: You can rev the engine, but acceleration is poor especialy going up hills.
• Gear Selection: You have difficulty shifting gears.
• If the clutch pedal feels soft or spongy when pressed, it could indicate a lack of hydraulic pressure due to fluid loss.
